Chapter 67: A Lot and A Little

Hi y'all! This was a buuuusy week!

District pday was on Monday. We played pickleball and some games at one of the churches. Then got Chick-fil-A!
We had two big meetings on Tuesday and Wednesday. Tuesday was mlc. We stayed up late on video call with the zone leaders so we could take what we learned, and new revelation we got from mlc and apply it to Zone Conference for the next day. It was definitely a process haha. But we got it worked out! Both the meetings were really good! President Hamblin gave a training on the Priesthood keys and I learned so much!
There was a cool moment I had at mlc! We talk a lot about God's purpose in our mission: "to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man." But I never understood the difference between the two. I thought they were the same so I was always confused why we stated both all the time. And I was literally in the middle of writing that question in my journal when Prez just casually says "Eternal life is life with God and life like God," and then just kept going abt whatever it was he was talking about. It literally blew my mind and made so much sense!! Immortality is living with a resurrected body. Which is something everyone on earth with have. Eternal life though, that is why it's important to make covenants! Our covenants put us on the path now to eventually live in the Celestial Kingdom with and like God!
It was also sososososo good to see some of my peeps from Aiken! I love them!
The rest of the week lowkey went kinda slow. We don't really have people we're teaching right now, so it's a lot of focus on building our teaching pool up again.
We did have an awesome miracle yesterday! We were stopping by this media referrals house. We pulled up and there was this lady and a dude outside the house. So we said a quick prayer and jumped outta the car. We introduced ourselves as missionaries and asked if the media referral lives there. The lady said nope. But she was super interested and excited that we were missionaries! We talked a bit about it with her and about Jesus Christ. She said she had to leave, but asked for our phone number! We gave her our number as well as a Book of Mormon and she said she was absolutely going to start reading and would be giving a phone call the next day!! She was so happy! She gave us a big hug before we left, and while we were driving away we saw her put our number into her phone from the card we gave her!!
That was definitely a boost for the day!
I love having interactions like that! Those small moments where you're able to share the Light of Christ with someone and you can see the impact that it makes on them in that moment. It truly brings so much joy!
Those were the highlights of the week! Oh! I also gave a talk in church on Sunday. That was fun! I hope it'll help me to feel more connected to the ward here. There are a lot of amazing people here, and I'm excited to do the Lords work with them.
Oh and! We were visiting a recent convert who hasn't been to church in a while and she like put a braid in my hair to look like a headband. Didn't really want that, but it happened lol
Not much more to share really, so I'll end it here and let y'all look at the pictures. Haha.
Jk, I remembered more while looking through pics. We saw some cows!!!! I am now a cow whisperer. One of the long horns let me pet it! And another one tried to eat my fingers haha. I love cows.
Always remember God loves you, Jesus loves you, and I love you!
